What was the highlight of Sida Resort Hotel Nakhon Nayok

Nothing was working and/or cleaned. The pool was a bit green and the gym full of cobwebs. The staff were not very helpful. It didn't look like hoovering or dusting every happened. Very dated and not well maintained. This is not a 3 or 4 star hotel.

Nice natural surrounds. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of a stream.

A/C was a little noisy at times.

Many attractions for the whole family on site. Сonsistently good food restaurant. The huge territory with a lot of entertainment. Located on the numerous streams with waterfalls and bridges. Good swimming pool. A lot of interesting outside the hotel. Comfotable parking everywhere - for sleeping, swimming, eating and entertainment.

Gests of the hotel are mainly Thais. It may be the reason that it is not easy for foreigner to find a reception hidden in one of the building with no indication.

What was the highlight of Sida Resort Hotel Nakhon Nayok

The pros : Good location, just a few hundred meters from the water falls which are free and do not charge foreigners 5 times more. Easy to get to by road...if you have a GPS that is. Great views and river surroundings from the main building. Other than the two sour faces who meant the reception coffee shop, all the staff is very nice and happy to see you and I did dot see any issue with English. All the reception staff can speak English and do a great job. The restaurant has some decent food and I would like to command one of the restaurant staff Mr Chan chai for his great smile and efficiency. He also speaks a good English. The Pool is nice and chilled, although a but far from the main building but hey you can get a cold beer there, so that is all that matter to me. The new building rooms are better in a way than the old building. New LCD TV and balcony. Having said that, the furniture's are really cheap and much better in the old room even tough they are old style. The breakfast is great. It caters mainly to Thai with a complete hot buffet which was great. I love Thai food, Westerners no need to worry as all the westerners are there too. Eggs, sausages, ham etc...

The cons : The new building is nice, but very noisy when you have guest talking in the corridor. Every sound reverb's badly. Also the view is not that great as the river view is reserved to the old building. The lobby area is somewhat messy, not organised, plus there is this old building lingering smell or dirty carpet mixed with some sort of dirty toilet smell.... Something the management need to address, if they actually care. I am saying that because it is obvious that either this hotel is cash strapped or then the owners stopped caring back in 2003. This is a large aging complex, and pretty much everywhere is showing need of some serious TLC. The pool for instance is nice, but not that clean, and needs new tables and chairs. The ones they have are so faded away it is not funny. The bar next to it is operating, but looks as if it is abandoned, not mentioning it is simply filthy. The F & B manager needs to be given the sack big time. The old rooms, looks cool and have a river view, however they need new furniture's and a TV upgrade from 1995 to 2017 ! Mentioning the TV, my LCD TV only had 15 stored channels. Sensing something was wrong, i did a manual re-tuning and I got about 30 channels, including internationals one's but with a poor signal quality. Which clearly means, the maintenance guys did not bother tuning all the channels or care about the low picture quality. Something for the general manager to reflect on. In a nut shell, with some much needed renovations, this hotel can rock. As it is now, it is touch and go. Maybe it is cash strapped despite being fully booked this last weekend, or then they urgently need a new general manager with a different future for this hotel in mind. It has so much unused potential, but for now, this hotel is simply dying slowly but surely. I will be happy to return there, however a nice renovation of the hotel in general would be a plus.

Staff is not well trained! No knowledges!! Not so polite! They are like Villagers!! Only one guy who a senior at restaurant has a good service minded and he knows about high quality of wines and can talk to us & served us better than other staffs in the whole property!!

in all our 3 rooms the water was coming out of the aircon..The aircon make to much noice.In the restaurannt whe onnly can eat Thai food. No soup or burgers.The prices on the bill are higer than the prices in the menu

Location of the room on a massive, away from town

Lack of welcoming information, eg a map of facilities would be useful. Room could do with a really good clean. Some of the fixtures are dated and require repairs or replacement.

A nice size room and a good buffet breakfast.

Location was rather out of the way and this was rated as 4 stars but I would not place more than three. It was a resort hotel and very busy really catering for groups rather than solo or family travellers.

Lovely grounds, though not much was open when we were there. Swimming pool was good.

Hard to get out of resort without your own transport. Wi fi in rooms could be improved. Do not reply to any messages sent due to little English being spoken. Coins be difficult to visit if you don't have a Thai speaker.

We liked the restaurant and the room was big.

We liked the restaurant and the room was big. The food was ok. There was a lovely waiter.

The bathroom was not very clean and the toilet leaking. The room and hotel was rundown and not very clean. I believe there might have been bed bugs as I have come back with big bites on my neck. We played snooker which we didn't realise we had to pay for and then they sent someone up to watch over us to ensure we did not go over the hour we had to pay for.

Beautiful location with extensive grounds. Within walking distance of watetfall. Good convenience store on site.

Hotel a bit grubby and run down. Hotel was empty so few activities available. Many of the activitirs water based but there was no water in the river so no canoeing etc.
